PhD degree in Pharmaceutics is one of the specialized branches of pharmacy and it is the highest level of university education in this field that leads to the awarding of a degree. The field of pharmaceutics includes various educational and research topics related to the formulation of various pharmaceutical products, various physicochemical and microbial controls of drugs and pharmaceutical products, as well as analysis and pharmacokinetic studies of drugs.

 

Graduates of the Ph.D course in the field of pharmaceutics can be involved in teaching, research and management in pharmacy schools across the country, research centers and headquarters (Ministry of Health, Treatment and Medical Education) related to the field as well as pharmaceutical industries of the country as experts. and experienced to play a role.

 

The specialized field of pharmaceutics is one of the oldest and prominent branches in the field of pharmaceuticals, which has seen significant progress in the last few decades. The design and use of new types of drug delivery systems, especially particle carriers, and the use of nanoscience and biotechnology in recent years have brought about a significant change in this field. On the other hand, the design and application of various intelligent and targeted drug delivery systems has provided the possibility of drug delivery at the cellular and even intracellular levels. In this regard, it seems important to train pharmacists who have sufficient knowledge and scientific and research ability. The presented program is the first revision of the educational program of the Ph.D. in pharmaceutics. Considering the remarkable scientific and research progress made in the field of pharmaceutics in recent years, it seems necessary to revise the educational program of this field and adapt it to the current needs and knowledge of the world, in order to respond to the needs of the society.

 

 

 

History:

 

The Department of Pharmaceutics is one of the main foundations of the Faculty of Pharmacy in Kerman, which was established in 1987. This group started its activity in the same year in the path of training general pharmacy students and since 2008, it has been accepting Ph.D. students in the field of pharmaceutics. Currently, the group is working in the field of general pharmacy and s Ph.D. in pharmaceutics.
